THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 PROHIBITION ON THE SA WINE INDUSTRY

Dear respondent, 
We at Tourism Research in Economics, Environs and Society (TREES), the tourism research entity at the North-West University, are currently conducting research and would like you to form part of it. This project is conducted in collaboration with The TOPS at SPAR Wine Show. The project's ethical clearance number is (NWU-00032-21-A4). 

The primary goal of this research is to assess the influence of COVID-19 on the wine industry. While the impact of COVID-19 has received much media attention, little to no empirical research has been conducted to assess this impact. This research includes industry roleplayers' (wine retailers, wholesalers, online retailers, wine producers, farms, estates, grape growers and wineries, and wine event/festival/show marketers and organisers) opinions to provide insights into the pandemic's resulting impact on the wine industry and South Africa's economy. Please note the following:

• Your participation in this research is entirely voluntary, and you will receive no form of compensation.
• All responses will remain anonymous. 
• The survey should take between 15-20 minutes to complete.
